Casting Call: Female Basketball Player for Docuseries Reenactment
Job Description: Tiffany Company Casting is currently seeking a talented individual to play a main character in an upcoming major basketball docuseries. This individual will be responsible for portraying a character in a non-speaking reenactment, capturing the essence and physicality of a professional basketball player. This role requires someone who can convincingly embody the character through physical presence and basketball skills rather than through dialogue.
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in on-camera scenes, accurately reenacting moments from a basketball-related storyline.
- Use basketball skills and knowledge to perform convincingly on screen.
- Collaborate with directors and crew to achieve the desired scene outcome.
- Follow instructions and direction regarding choreography and scene requirements.
- Maintain professional demeanor on set and contribute to a positive, collaborative working environment.
Requirements:
- Must be a Black female, as the role seeks to represent a specific character profile.
- Height requirement: 5'10" or taller.
- Age range: Must be between 20-35 years old.
- Significant basketball experience is a must. Applicants should be skilled and comfortable with basketball gameplay and technique.
- Must be available for a 1-2 day shoot in Los Angeles on March 19-20.
- Non-speaking role; acting experience is not required but may be beneficial.
- Must be punctual, reliable, and take direction well.
Compensation Details:
- Pay: $250 per day.
- The role is a short-term engagement, with shooting scheduled for 1-2 days.
