Job Responsibilities:

• Act as a background performer in various kitchen and restaurant scenes, performing tasks that reflect real-life culinary activities without overshadowing the main action.
• Follow directions from the director and culinary consultant to ensure authenticity in culinary presentations and actions.
• Be prepared to work in a fast-paced filming environment, often with long hours.
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism and work ethic on set.
• Collaborate with the production team and other cast members to create a seamless and realistic culinary background setting.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a chef, cook, or sous chef in a professional setting.
• A deep understanding of kitchen operations and culinary skills.
• Ability to take direction well and adapt to the dynamic requirements of a film set.
• Must be available to film in New York from mid-April to September, with a flexible schedule to accommodate filming dates and times.
• Previous experience in film or television is a plus, but not required.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
