Job Description:

We are currently seeking submissions from union members registered with Central Casting for an upcoming scene requiring an African American presenting male, appearing to be in his mid-20s, to portray an Uber Driver. This role involves listening and reacting to a podcast during the scene. The ideal candidate must own a nicer model car and be comfortable with production equipment being placed inside the vehicle for filming. There is a possibility of having a second background actor in your car for the scene.

Job Responsibilities:

• Portray an Uber Driver engaging with a podcast.
• Allow for a camera setup inside your personal vehicle.
• Possibly interact with another background actor in the vehicle as part of the scene.
• Follow directions from the director and crew to achieve the desired scene outcome.
• Be prepared for wardrobe requirements and any other specifications provided upon booking.

Requirements:

• Must be a member of the relevant union and registered with Central Casting.
• Identify as African American presenting and appear to be in your mid-20s.
• Own a car that is suitable for the role and in good condition.
• Be comfortable with film production equipment being installed in your vehicle.
• Available to work on the specified date in the Los Angeles area.
• Excellent listening and reactive skills.
• Ability to take direction well and adapt to changes in the scene as needed.

Compensation Details:

• The role pays a union rate of $208 for 8 hours of work.
• A car allowance of $37.50 will be provided if booked with your vehicle.
• Any overtime will be compensated as per union guidelines.
