Casting Call: Background Actors for "Ranch Hands" Role

Job Details:

• Position: Background Actor (Ranch Hands)
• Production Type: To be disclosed to selected candidates.
• Union Status: UNION SUBMISSIONS ONLY. Applicants must be registered with Central Casting.
• Date of Work: March 13th (One day shoot)
• Rate: $208 for 8 hours (Overtime will be compensated according to union standards)
• Location: Santa Clarita, CA

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform as background actors portraying ranch hands in various scenes, contributing to the realism and depth of the production.
• Work closely with the director, crew, and fellow actors to maintain consistency and authenticity throughout scenes.
• Follow instructions carefully and adapt to changes in scenes or roles as directed.
• Maintain professionalism on set, including punctuality, preparedness, and respect for all cast and crew.
• Comfortably work around and interact with horses as required by the role, ensuring safety and well-being for both actors and animals.

Requirements:

• Must be registered with Central Casting: Only candidates who are currently registered with Central Casting will be considered.
• Comfortable Working Around Horses: Applicants should be comfortable and confident in their ability to work around horses, contributing to scenes in a natural and authentic manner.
• Experience with Horses Preferred: Preference will be given to candidates who have previous experience with horses, whether in a personal, professional, or acting capacity.
• Union Membership: Applicants must be members in good standing of the appropriate actors' union.
• Availability: Must be fully available on the specified work date without conflicts.
• Transportation: Candidates must have reliable transportation to and from the set in Santa Clarita.

Compensation Details:

• The pay rate for this role is $208 for an 8-hour day. Hours worked beyond the initial 8 will be compensated at the standard union overtime rate.
• Any additional benefits or compensation will be in accordance with union regulations and agreements.
