Senior Manager, Strategic Pricing

As a Director of Financial Reporting, you will serve as the subject matter expert for SEC filings and application of US GAAP, ensuring compliance through external and internal financial reporting processes. You will engage with cross-functional partners to ensure accurate and timely processing and reporting of various financial data. You will be a champion for Cinemark’s vision and will support the success of the accounting department. A Day in the Life of a Director of Financial Reporting:<ul><li>Participate in accounting close process, including recording of certain assigned journal entries and preparation of balance sheet reconciliations</li><li>Review monthly consolidation and related eliminations schedules</li><li>Prepare quarterly cash flow worksheet and other supporting schedules</li><li>Review quarterly consolidated financial statements</li><li>Lead preparation and review of Form 10-Q’s and Form 10-K, including review of all supporting documentation for filings</li><li>Review XBRL files for all 10-Q’s and 10-K’s</li><li>Assist with preparation of financial statements and compliance calculations for debt agreements</li><li>Preparation/review of quarterly press release, including collaboration with Investor Relations, Legal and Executive teams</li><li>Assessment, recording and tracking of equity award activity</li><li>Assist legal team with the filing of the annual proxy and other SEC filings to ensure the accuracy of applicable financial information</li><li>Preparation of quarterly domestic impairment analyses</li><li>Review of new revenue-generating contracts for proper accounting treatment, including documentation of assessments</li><li>Ownership for all documented accounting policies, including collaborating on annual updates to such policies, distribution of policies to relevant personnel and confirmation of those policies considered critical for SEC reporting purposes</li><li>Evaluation of new accounting pronouncements and communication of respective impact to other finance personnel</li><li>Act as liaison with external auditors during audit process, including preparation of certain requested schedules, communication of internal control test results and other requests as needed</li><li>Prepare financials for 401K Plan and assist auditors with audit of 401K as needed</li><li>Coaching and development of team members to grow skills and technical knowledge</li></ul> You Will Need to Have:<ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree – Accounting, Finance</li><li>7-10 years progressive accounting experience</li><li>Big 4 public accounting experience required</li><li>CPA required</li><li>Extensive experience with SEC reporting</li><li>Extensive GAAP knowledge, and familiarity with IFRS</li><li>Experience at a global company</li><li>Self-motivated, superior work ethic, and a roll-up-the-sleeves style</li><li>Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills</li></ul> This job description is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, skills, efforts, requirements or working conditions associated with the job. What is a Senior Manager, Digital Communications? The Senior Manager, Digital Communications role is responsible for planning and implementing digital communication strategies to support all company initiatives. Reporting to the Director, Digital Communications, this individual will be responsible for developing, implementing, and measuring the communication strategies and channel enhancements. This role will optimize customer messaging in order to grow and retain customers while driving awareness and conversion.
