"Black Mass" Starring Johnny Depp Acting Auditions Casting Call

I think I am going to have to  postpone my trip for a few days and try and make this casting call, this would be an awesome experience.

<strong>Johnny Depp</strong> will star in the film as the infamous mobster Whitey Bulger. Dakota Johnson, Juno Temple, Jesse Plemons, Joel Edgerton, and Guy Pearce also star.

The casting call  is scheduled for  Saturday, April 12 and Sunday, April 13 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at 180 Mount Vernon St in Dorchester, MA.

Johnny Depp is one of Hollywood's biggest and highest paid actors in Hollywood. With each and every role the actor pushes the boundaries on acting, realism and storytelling. In a recent interview with Variety, the <em>Black Mass </em>actor discussed his acting techniques, styles and events that helped him shape the actor for a role that many are saying will land Depp an Academy Award.

During the interview with Variety, Depp describes what it was like acting in the movie and saying that it was difficult to seperate himself from the character when filming was over. "Because you’re playing the guy from morning to night every day for a certain length of time, months and months, they do seep into you. That’s not to say that you’re no longer you. But being someone more than you’re yourself in a day, there’s no other way that it can happen without the character seeping into you a bit. I always have a decompression period at the end of a film. Sometimes it joyful, because you’re just happy to be done. Or it can be melancholy. I remember the last day of “Edward Scissorhands,” looking at him and being him and knowing I would never see him again. It really got me."

But, Depp also shared acting advice saying how he commits wholeheartedly to a role even though he knows he will open to criticism. "I know sometimes (with roles) people will watch it and say, “That’s just madness, he’s just playing some weirdo or he’s painted his face again.” But these are the characters that I see, it’s how I see them. And if you feel it’s the right thing to do for the character and you stick to your guns, no matter what, at least you tried something. Even if it’s an absolute failure. So I feel really good about my characters in the sense that I at least tried something. If it works, great. If it doesn’t work, I tried."

For Johnny Depp's new movie, 'Black Mass' Depp played Whitey Bulger in the movie and he underwent a pretty drastic transformation. Johnny Depp lost his normal long hair to play the legendary mob boss of Boston and the results are pretty chilling not to mention pretty identical.

Johnny Depp's Transformation for His New Movie is Shocking

No one is worth that kind of money for a movie role. It's so far out of touch with reality that it's not even funny.

Box office sales for two weeks are NOTHING to judge and US sales are merely 1/4 of the total sales. There are still overseas sells, DVD sales, streaming/downloading sales....Jonathon A of projectcasting, you're an uneducated idiot!

<h2>Johnny Depp is on a hit streak for making bad movies as the actor is facing the third box-office flop in a row.</h2>
According to <a href="http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/johnny-depps-career-crossroads-actor-765262" target="_blank">reports</a>, <em><strong>Mortdecai</strong></em> is expected to be a major box-office flop and will not make $10 million. That is way less than <em>The Interview, </em>a movie that had a limited release in only a few movie theaters throughout the country and had terrorist threats threatened against movie goers who actually do go.

Johnny Depp's previous movie, <em><strong>Transcendence,</strong> </em>which cost $100 million to make barely made a profit. Before <em>Transcendence, </em>there was Disney's <em>The Lone Ranger, </em>which cost $250 million and only made $89 million in the United States.

It may be too early to say that Johnny Depp's career is over. The actor is already signed up for several major franchises including <em>Pirates of the Caribbean </em>and <em>Alice in Wonderland. </em>In addition, Depp has just finished working on <strong>Whitey Bulger </strong>biopic, <em>Black Mass.</em>

But, it is rumored that Depp cut his fees for <em>Mortdecai </em>taking in only $10 million dollars instead of his usual $20 million-plus for his typical movie roles. Which could be a sign that Johnny Depp and his talent agent believe he is not worth that much money.

"Johnny Depp is that rare talent whose depth and range has endeared him to audiences in every age, demographic and fan base around the world," says <strong>Rob Friedman</strong>, co-chair of Lionsgate's motion picture group.
