Here’s how to get free tickets to The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

Do you live or are visiting New York City? Well here’s the free guide to getting tickets to The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

Now that Stephen Colbert is officially replacing David Letterman on The Late Show, tickets for the new late-night show will be in high demand. So if you ever wondered how to get tickets to what will be the biggest show in town, here’s how.

Tickets to The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, which will continue to be taped inside the famous Ed Sullivan Theater, are now available here.

When you visit ShowClix.com, you will notice a calendar with all of the current taping dates highlighted in blue. Choose the date you wish to attend the show, and if tickets are available, you’ll be able to reserve free tickets right from the page.

Currently, all of the tickets are unavaiable because they are all sold out. But, more tickets will be released on a monthly basis.

If you do score tickets, here are a few things to keep in mind:

– Everyone attending must have a government issued photo I.D., and be at least 18

-Tickets will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis

– Be in line by 3:15 PM

– A tickets doesn’t guarantee you entry

– No backpacks or other large bags are allowed in the theater, everyone will go through a security check point

– Tickets are non-transferable

– Tickets are NOT for sale or resale

– Individuals may only attend once every six months

– Once you enter the theater, you are required to stay for the duration of the taping

– No photography is allowed during the taping

– Food or drinks are not allowed in the theater

– Show dress code is “Your Mom might see you on TV” casual

Stephen Colbert is best known for his work as a TV host, writer, actor, and producer, and he is also known for teaching English as a second language in Tunisia. Before joining the CBS family, Stephen Colbert directed and produced The Colbert Report, which aired 1,500 episodes. The Colbert Report received two Peabody Awards, and two Grammy Awards. In fact, The Colbert Report won two Emmys for Outstanding Variety Series in 2013 and 2014.

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert premieres September 8th on CBS.
