Caitlyn Jenner: I’m Afraid of Going to a Men’s Prison

Reality is starting to hit Caitlyn Jenner after the fatal car crash killed an innocent woman.

In February, the former Olympian, who was then known as Bruce, was involved in a car crash in that resulted in the of a 69-year-old widow.

“A tragedy like this you'll never get over it, you just learn to live with it the best you possibly can,” Jenner, 65, revealed to Matt Lauer during a “Today” show interview that aired Wednesday.

Caitlyn Jenner may still feel sad but, the reality of facing up to a year in jail if investigators determine negligence was the cause is still an issue for the reality .


“[Going to jail] is the worst-case scenario … the men's county jail,” said Jenner. “It is an enormous problem that they would put trans in the men's county jail, but those are things we are into.”

“The media wants that picture, don't they?” she joked.

“I was under the speed limit — I was doing 46 in a 50,” she told Lauer in part of the (the second part airs Thursday). “My airbag didn't even go off. All I needed was probably a half a second of time [to stop] … I couldn't quite get [the vehicle] stopped.”
