Actor Gary Oldman Shares Great Tips for Aspiring Actors (VIDEO)

Gary Oldman is one of Hollywood’s most celebrated actors.

In his latest movie Darkest Hour, Oldman plays British Prime Minister Winston Churchill during the early days of World War II, with the fall of France imminent and Britain facing its darkest hour as the threat of invasion looms.

Directed by Joe Wright and written by Anthony McCarten, Oldman’s portrayal of Churchill reveals how he maneuvered his political rivals and confronted with saving the British people or negotiating with Hitler.

In a recent interview with the SAG-AFTRA Foundation, Oldman shares tips for aspiring actors, how he got into character and what he looks for in a feature film. One tip Oldman shares is that success in Hollywood “won’t last forever” and he understands that there are peaks and valleys in the film industry.
