‘The Walking Dead’ is Coming Back to Life for Season 6

AMC has announced yesterday that it will renew ‘The Walking Dead’ for a sixth season.

The news for a new season of ‘The Walking Dead’ comes only days before the premiere of Season 5 of the sci-fi thriller. Season 5 of ‘The Walking Dead’ will premiere this Sunday at 9 PM ET/PT. Season 4’s executive producer and showrunner, Scott Gimple will return for Season 6 along with executive producer Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, David Alpert, Greg Nicotero and Tom Luse. The Walking Dead has been the number one TV series for the past two years and it continues to break records. Last season finished with an average of nearly 16 million viewers, an increase of nearly 4 million people who watched The Walking Dead in Season 3. AMC is currently working on a potential companion series based on a new story and new characters from the creative mind of Robert Kirkman.
