About the Project: Grant Wilfley Casting Inc. is seeking locals from Cape May and surrounding areas to participate as extras in the upcoming feature film, "Wurtzle Brothers." The film will recreate the vibrant atmosphere of a 1965 music festival, capturing the essence of the era with authentic scenes and costumes. This is a fantastic opportunity for those interested in the film industry and looking to gain experience on a professional film set.

Job Details:

• Scenes: Participation in various scenes set in a 1965 music festival.
• Costume Fitting: Mandatory paid costume fitting in Jersey City, NJ, before the filming dates. Transportation to and from Cape May to Jersey City for the costume fitting will be provided.
• Transportation for Filming: Please note transportation to Cape May for filming is not provided. Applicants are responsible for their travel arrangements to the filming location.
• Accommodations: Hotel accommodations are not provided. Participants will need to arrange their own lodging if necessary.

Job Responsibilities:

• Participating in background scenes as directed by the production team.
• Adhering to the costume requirements and attending the costume fitting session.
• Being available and punctual for all scheduled filming dates and the costume fitting.
• Following directions from the film crew and behaving professionally on set.

Requirements:

• Must be a local resident of Cape May or the surrounding area.
• Available for the entire filming period from May 12 to May 16, 2024.
• Able to attend a costume fitting in Jersey City on a pre-scheduled date before filming.
• Reliable transportation to the filming location in Cape May, NJ.
• Must agree to work under the conditions set forth by the production team.

Compensation:

• SAG-AFTRA members: $208 for 8 hours.
• Non-SAG-AFTRA members: $176 for 10 hours ($16/hour).
