Casting Call: "Grilled Cheese" Film Project
Job Details: "Grilled Cheese," a new and exciting film project, is seeking African American male actors to portray travelers in a 1930s era train station scene. The filming will take place in the Hammond area, requiring participants to be available for shooting on both May 28th and 29th. A costume fitting session will be scheduled in New Orleans prior to the shooting dates.
Job Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in the background scenes set at a 1930s train station.
- Attend and be punctual for the scheduled costume fitting in New Orleans.
- Follow directions from the director and crew to ensure scenes are captured as scripted.
- Maintain professionalism on set at all times.
Requirements:
- African American males, aged 18 and above.
- Must be available on May 28th and 29th for the shooting and have flexible availability for a fitting prior to these dates.
- Ability to portray a traveler from the 1930s with authenticity.
- Comfortable wearing period-specific costumes and potentially spending extended periods on set.
- Previous acting experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
Compensation:
- Pay rate: $150 per 12-hour day of filming.
- Additional details regarding compensation for fittings and other participation will be provided upon selection.
