Casting Call: Paid Extras for Untitled Feature Film

Job Details: We are looking for a variety of roles to be filled by paid extras in an upcoming feature film. Extras will provide the realistic background scenery to various scenes in the film. We are especially seeking:

• A significant number of children aged 9-12.
• Individuals with real experience as firefighters, law enforcement officers, and school bus drivers (with CDL License).
• Medical professionals such as paramedics, EMTs, and nurses, along with other emergency medical personnel.
• Dispatch officers with experience in any transport or emergency services sector.
• Employees from city or town hall backgrounds.
• Individuals with experience in the National Guard or other military branches.
• Workers from the Red Cross and Emergency Services sector.
• News, media, and press crew members with relevant media experience.
• Utility workers from electric and related companies.
• Drivers with their own vehicles including cars, RVs, campers, etc.
• Precision drivers with their own vehicles for specific driving scenes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Being present on set for the entire shooting schedule as required.
• Taking direction from the casting director and crew members.
• Portraying specific roles or background settings accurately and consistently.
• Being prepared to repeat actions for multiple takes if necessary.
• Being adaptable and flexible to the changing needs of the film production schedule.

Requirements:

• Must be a local area resident.
• For specialized roles, must provide credentials/experience upon application.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be available for the duration of the shoot and during the specified casting call times.
• Own transportation to the casting location and film set is required.
• For drivers, a valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required.
• Children must have a guardian or parent present at all times.

Compensation:

• General Background Pay Rate: $117.00 for an 8-hour day, with overtime compensation after 8 hours.
• Special Ability roles (including Firefighters, Police, Bus Drivers, Military, Precision Drivers, etc.) will receive higher rates, commensurate with the role and experience required.
• Specific compensation details for specialized roles will be discussed upon the casting or booking confirmation.
