About the Project:
We are casting for the role of Detective #2 in an upcoming true crime recreation series airing on a major network. This non-union project aims to bring real-life cases back to the screen, focusing on visual storytelling without scripted dialogue. The series emphasizes authenticity and emotion, requiring actors to convey complex narratives purely through actions and expressions.

Job Details:

• Role: Detective #2
• Gender: Male
• Age: 35-45
• Filming Location: Knoxville, TN
• Filming Dates: March 26th to March 28th, 2024. As the preliminary schedule is yet to be finalized, applicants must list any potential conflicts within this period.
• Scenes: 6 scenes. The exact days of filming are to be confirmed but will fall within the specified dates. It is currently unsure if the role will require 1 or 2 days of filming.

Job Responsibilities:

• Portray Detective #2 in a series of scenes recreating true crime stories, focusing on non-verbal acting skills to tell the story.
• Collaborate closely with the director and other cast members to achieve realistic and compelling reenactments.
• Must be able to follow direction well and adapt to changes in the shooting schedule as needed.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism on set and contribute to a positive, collaborative working environment.

Requirements:

• Male, aged 35-45.
• Strong non-verbal communication skills and the ability to convey emotions and narrative without dialogue.
• Previous acting experience in film or television preferred, especially in drama or crime reenactments.
• Must own a clean, well-fitted professional wardrobe suitable for the role of a detective.
• Must be local to Knoxville, TN, or willing to work as a local hire (no travel or accommodation compensation).
• Availability for all filming dates and flexibility to accommodate schedule changes.
• Non-union.

Compensation:

• $150 per day.
• Compensation is fixed and non-negotiable.
• Payment will be made upon completion of filming.
