We are currently seeking an actor for an intense and dynamic role in an upcoming episode of the popular true-crime series, "Snapped," set to be filmed in Knoxville on April 2nd and 3rd. This episode will air on the Oxygen network and promises to be a gripping installment in the series.

Job Details:

• No scripted audio. The performance will rely heavily on physical acting and expression.
• Role Description: JON, ACCUSED is a white male in his late 20s to early 30s with a brown buzz cut and short facial hair. The character is central to the episode's plot, involving scripted violence and murder content. The actor will be required to break down a bedroom door with a bat, attack another character (Thomas), and hit him with the bat. The scene will involve fake blood and the handling of a prop gun.

Responsibilities:

• Portray the character of JON, ACCUSED with depth and authenticity, bringing to life the intense emotions and actions required by the script.
• Participate in physical scenes involving scripted violence (all performed in a safe and controlled environment).
• Work closely with the director and crew to ensure accurate and effective portrayal of scripted actions, including the use of props such as a baseball bat and a prop gun.
• Attend costume fittings and makeup sessions as required to transform into the character, including adjustments to hairstyle and facial hair to match the character's description.
• Be available for the entire shooting schedule on April 2nd and 3rd without any scheduling conflicts.

Requirements:

• Male actor, white, late 20s to early 30s.
• Brown buzz cut and short facial hair (or willing to adjust appearance to match these specifications).
• Comfortable with portraying scripted violence and murder content.
• Able to perform physical actions required by the role, including breaking down a door and engaging in a staged fight.
• Previous acting experience in television, film, or theater is preferred.

Compensation:

• Rate: $150 per day
• Hotel accommodation will be provided for actors not based in Knoxville.
