Job Description:

We are currently seeking an actor to fill the role of DET. RYAN for the upcoming episode 3402 of the true-crime television series "Snapped," airing on the Oxygen network. This episode will be filmed over two days in Knoxville, Tennessee, and involves no scripted audio.

Responsibilities:

• Portray the character DET. RYAN, a detective involved in the investigation of a high-profile case.

• Participate in scenes that involve scripted violence and murder content with professionalism and accuracy.

• Handle a prop gun safely and convincingly as required by the script.

• Work closely with the director and crew to bring the character and scenes to life in a manner that fits the vision of the episode.

• Be prepared to take direction and provide multiple takes of scenes as needed.

• Maintain a high level of professionalism and punctuality throughout the filming process.

Requirements:

• Gender: Male

• Ethnicity: White

• Age: 40's-50's

• Hair: Brown

• Must be comfortable with scripted violence and murder content.

• Must be comfortable handling a prop gun.

• Must closely resemble the provided photo in physical appearance. (Please note that applicants may be asked to provide a current headshot for comparison.)

• Previous acting experience in television or film is preferred but not required.

• Ability to convey a range of emotions and to immerse oneself in the character.

• Must be available to film in Knoxville on April 2-3 without scheduling conflicts.

Compensation:

The selected actor will be compensated at a rate of $150 per day. Additionally, hotel accommodation will be provided for actors not based in Knoxville or those requiring overnight stay due to filming schedules.
