Casting Call: Court Reporter/Stenographer for Popular Hulu Series
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a real Court Reporter/Stenographer with their own equipment for multiple filming dates on a popular Hulu series. This is a unique opportunity to bring your professional expertise to a dynamic and creative environment, contributing to a high-profile project. You will be the featured Court Reporter, playing a critical role in the authenticity and success of the series' courtroom scenes.
Job Responsibilities:
Serve as the on-screen Court Reporter/Stenographer for the series, performing tasks as would be required in a real courtroom setting.
Ensure accurate representation of court reporting duties, including the use of stenography equipment and techniques.
Work closely with the production team to achieve realistic courtroom proceedings.
Be prepared for multiple takes and possible script changes to accommodate the director’s vision.
Maintain professionalism and focus on set, despite potential long hours and repetitive scenes.
Requirements:
Must have real experience as a Court Reporter/Stenographer.
Must own and be proficient with Court Reporting equipment, including a laptop with necessary software and a printout machine.
Ability to follow directions and adapt to changes in script or filming requirements.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Willingness to work as part of a diverse and dynamic team.
Must be available for all listed filming dates, with flexibility for additional dates as needed.
Must be local to or able to commute to Norcross, GA, for the duration of the filming period.
Compensation:
The rate of pay is $196 per 12-hour workday.
An additional $25 per day will be provided for bringing and using your own equipment.
