You don't need any acting experience. Cheer and dance experience are a plus. 

CHARACTER DESCRIPTION:
[YOUNG ROW] Can play 13-15, Filipino or AAPI, pre-gender transition or early transition MTF, cheer, and dance experience a plus. Young Row is strong, willful, and ambitious and loves their mother and sister but will do anything to make their dreams come true.

STORYLINE: Rowena (Rain Valdez), a transgender actress who returns to her estranged home childhood of Guam for her high school reunion’s “Do Over Week," to live out a big regret... her childhood dream of becoming a cheerleader. But she must then confront a different kind of reunion — her estranged family.
