Casting Call: Convention Staffers (Multiple Positions)

Our available positions include registration clerks, greeters, badge checkers, crowd control personnel, door and room monitors, and floaters. These roles are crucial in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for all attendees. Job Responsibilities:

• Registration Clerks: Manage attendee check-in, distribute materials, and answer general queries.

• Greeters: Welcome attendees with a smile, direct them as necessary, and provide general information.

• Badge Checkers: Ensure all attendees have appropriate credentials for entry and access to designated areas.

• Crowd Control: Manage lines and crowds, ensuring safety and order are maintained.

• Door and Room Monitors: Monitor access to various rooms and venues, ensuring only authorized entry.

• Floaters: Provide support where needed, adapt to various roles quickly, and handle unforeseen tasks.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, as required by the role.

• Capable of handling fast-paced and potentially high-stress environments.

• Demonstrates problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and potentially long hours.

• Previous experience in customer service or event staffing is a plus but not required.

Compensation Details:

• Pay rates range from $14 to $16 per hour, depending on the position and responsibilities.

• Shifts vary between 4 to 12 hours, depending on the show and job duties.

• Please note, this position does not guarantee 40 hours of work per week. Ideal for candidates seeking flexible part-time opportunities.
