Casting Call: Photo Double Opportunity
Job Detail: We are currently seeking a photo double for an upcoming project filming in Albuquerque, NM. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with the film production team and contribute to the visual authenticity of our project.
Who: We are looking for an individual who closely matches the physical characteristics (height, weight, general build) and appearance of an actor we are working with. The selected photo double will be required for scenes where the actor is not available or for specific shots needing a double. A picture of the actor and their sizes will be provided to applicants to assess similarity.
When: The photo double is needed for the week of February 5th. Exact dates and call times within this week will be communicated in advance to the selected candidate.
Where: The filming will take place in Albuquerque, NM. Candidates must be local or willing to travel to the location (please note that travel expenses are not covered).
Job Responsibilities:
- Stand in for the actor during various film scenes as directed by the production team.
- Participate in costume fittings to match the actor's appearance as closely as possible.
- Work closely with the directors and cinematographers to achieve the desired scenes.
- Be available on set for the full duration of the call times provided.
Requirements:
- Physical resemblance to the actor in terms of height, weight, and general build. Specific measurements will be provided upon application.
- Availability for the entire week of February 5th for filming in Albuquerque, NM.
- Professional demeanor and ability to follow directions closely.
- Previous experience as a photo double or extra is preferred but not required.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Compensation:
- The rate for this role is $140 for an 8-hour day. Overtime will be paid in accordance with industry standards.
