Casting Call: Indigenous Clinic Patient Role

Job Details: Central Casting is currently seeking Union and Non-Union actors to portray Indigenous clinic patients for an upcoming scene in a high-profile production. This role is an excellent opportunity for those looking to gain experience or add to their acting portfolio.

Location: The scene will be filmed in the Rockland area. Complimentary transportation will be provided from Manhattan for those who require it.

Shooting Schedule: The filming will take place indoors and is scheduled as part of the current season's production. Exact dates and times will be communicated upon selection.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Portray the role of an Indigenous clinic patient in a realistic and respectful manner.
  • Follow the director's instructions and adapt to changes in the scene as needed.
  • Be available for costume fittings and makeup as required by the production team.
  • Maintain professionalism on set and work collaboratively with other cast and crew members.

Requirements:

  • Must be a registered actor with Central Casting.
  • Identify as Indigenous or have an Indigenous heritage.
  • Must be available for the entire shooting schedule and any preparatory meetings or rehearsals.
  • Ability to follow direction and perform convincingly in front of the camera.
  • Previous acting experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation:

  • Union actors will be compensated at a rate of $208 for an 8-hour day.
  • Non-Union actors will be compensated at a rate of $176 for a 10-hour day.
