We are searching for talented individuals across Canada to voice two new captivating roles. This is an episodic animated series that has captured hearts with its enchanting storytelling and vibrant characters. We welcome both union (ACTRA – D103 Minimum Fees for Animation Performers) and non-union talent to apply.

Roles and Responsibilities:

IVY

• Gender/Age: Female, 20-30

• Ethnicity: Chinese/Biracial

• Character Traits: Ivy is a pop sensation known for her flamboyant performances and diva behavior. Despite her success, she struggles with familial acceptance, leading to a complex character who can be both mean and vulnerable.

• Responsibilities: Voice acting for Ivy requires the ability to convey a range of emotions, from high-energy performance scenes to moments of emotional vulnerability. Singing ability is a must, as Ivy's character is a renowned singer within the series.

• Requirements: Female talent aged 20-30, strong singing skills, ability to convey complex emotional states. Chinese/Biracial ethnicity strongly preferred.

ALI

• Gender/Age: Transmasculine, 14-25 (to sound 14)

• Ethnicity: Middle Eastern, specifically Lebanese

• Character Traits: Ali is a first-year student with an unbridled enthusiasm for life and a deep desire to help others. He is optimistic, friendly, and always ready to lend a hand.

• Responsibilities: Voice acting for Ali involves bringing to life his bubbly personality and optimistic outlook. The ability to sound like a 14-year-old boy is essential.

• Requirements: Open to transgender and non-binary performers, must be able to sound like a 14-year-old male, Middle Eastern background preferred, especially Lebanese.

Compensation:

Talent will be compensated according to ACTRA – D103 Minimum Fees for Animation Performers. Additional details regarding compensation, including potential bonuses and other benefits, will be discussed upon successful casting.
