Scene Description: We are casting for the 1936 Factory Workers scene in the upcoming 1930s-themed film adaptation of August Wilson's "The Piano Lesson." This scene aims to authentically represent the era and requires actors to portray factory workers from the 1930s.

Eligibility: New faces only – we are seeking fresh talent who have not previously appeared in this production.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in the filming of the 1936 factory scene, following the director's guidance.

  • Be prepared to wear period-appropriate costumes and possibly use props relevant to factory work in the 1930s.

  • Maintain a professional demeanor on set, adhering to the schedule and instructions provided by the production team.

  • Be able to perform repetitive tasks or actions as required by the scene's depiction of factory work.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years old.

  • Reliable transportation to and from the filming location in Macon, GA.

  • Ability to follow directions and work well in a team environment.

  • Flexibility to adapt to possible long filming hours.

  • New faces only: Applicants should not have been cast in previous scenes of this film.

  • A commitment to maintaining the authenticity of the 1930s era in appearance and conduct during the scene.

Compensation:

  • Filming Pay Rate: $154 for a 12-hour filming day.

  • Any overtime beyond 12 hours will be compensated in accordance with industry standards.
