Scene Description: We are casting for the 1936 Factory Workers scene in the upcoming 1930s-themed film adaptation of August Wilson's "The Piano Lesson." This scene aims to authentically represent the era and requires actors to portray factory workers from the 1930s.
Eligibility: New faces only – we are seeking fresh talent who have not previously appeared in this production.
Job Responsibilities:
Actively participate in the filming of the 1936 factory scene, following the director's guidance.
Be prepared to wear period-appropriate costumes and possibly use props relevant to factory work in the 1930s.
Maintain a professional demeanor on set, adhering to the schedule and instructions provided by the production team.
Be able to perform repetitive tasks or actions as required by the scene's depiction of factory work.
Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years old.
Reliable transportation to and from the filming location in Macon, GA.
Ability to follow directions and work well in a team environment.
Flexibility to adapt to possible long filming hours.
New faces only: Applicants should not have been cast in previous scenes of this film.
A commitment to maintaining the authenticity of the 1930s era in appearance and conduct during the scene.
Compensation:
Filming Pay Rate: $154 for a 12-hour filming day.
Any overtime beyond 12 hours will be compensated in accordance with industry standards.
