Casting Call for Book Signing Scene

About the Scene:
We are seeking to cast a small group of children and a few adults for a book signing scene. This scene captures the excitement and joy of young fans and their parents at a book signing event.

Roles:

1. Children Fans

   • Age: 6 - 10 years old
   • Gender: Any
   • Role Description: Children will be portraying fans at a book signing, showing enthusiasm and joy. They may be required to interact with the main characters, portraying natural and authentic reactions to the book signing event.

2. Parent Types

   • Age: Late 20s to 40s
   • Gender: Any
   • Role Description: Adults will portray the parents or guardians of the child fans. These roles do not require the actors to have children in the production but should exhibit parental behavior and interactions at the event.

Job Responsibilities:

• Attend costume fitting (if required) prior to the shooting date.
• Be available for the entire shooting day on 2/27.
• Follow directions from the director and crew to ensure scenes are captured as envisioned.
• Interact naturally with other cast members to create a believable book signing atmosphere.

Requirements:

• No previous acting experience required, but must be comfortable in front of the camera.
• Must have a guardian present on set if under 18.
• Must be able to follow directions and adapt to changes in the shooting schedule.
• Transportation to and from the set in Covington.

Compensation:

• This is a paid opportunity.
• Meals and snacks will be provided on set.
