Casting Call:&nbsp;Comedy Actors and Writers for Sketch Comedy Show
Job Details:
Originator Studios is excited to announce a casting call for talented improv actors and comedy writers for our upcoming pilot episode of a modern sketch comedy show. This project aims to satirize today's culture, technology, and the ironies of everyday life through sharp, witty sketches. We are looking to cast 5 actors and hire 2-4 writers who are passionate about comedy and can bring a unique perspective to our show.
Responsibilities:
For Actors:
<ul>
<li>Participate in rehearsals and be available for all scheduled shoots.</li>
<li>Collaborate with writers and directors to bring sketches to life.</li>
<li>Contribute to the creative process with improvisational skills and comedic timing.</li>
</ul>
For Writers:
<ul>
<li>Develop and write engaging, humorous sketches that reflect the show's satirical tone.</li>
<li>Work collaboratively with the creative team to refine scripts.</li>
<li>Attend regular writing meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions.</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Must be local to the Austin area and available for writing meets, rehearsals, and shoots.</li>
<li>Strong background in improv, stand-up comedy, or comedic writing.</li>
<li>Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.</li>
<li>Preferred age range: 30-50 years.</li>
<li>No specific gender or ethnicity preferences.</li>
<li>Must provide examples of improv, stand-up, or comedic writing.</li>
</ul>

<li>Extras for a Netflix Comedy Special to play 6pm-9pm on Weds, May 17th in Austin.</li>
</ul>
Rate is $200.
We are looking for:
<ul>
<li>Men &amp; women over the age of 18 who ride Motorcycles (who can drive them).</li>
<li>They'd prefer to book talent with their own motorcycle, so the driver is familiar with it!</li>
