Casting Call: Real Medics for Non-Speaking Extra Roles
Job Detail: We are currently seeking real medics, both male and female, of all ethnicities, aged in their 20s through 50s, to participate as non-speaking extras in an upcoming production. The specific date of filming is to be determined but will occur within the next two weeks. This is a fantastic opportunity for those interested in combining their medical expertise with a unique experience in the film industry.
Job Responsibilities:
Portray a medic in various scenes, accurately representing the profession in a non-speaking capacity.
Follow directions from the director and crew to ensure scenes are executed as required.
Participate in costume fittings and makeup sessions as needed to ensure authenticity of the medic portrayal.
Be available for the entirety of the scheduled filming day(s), which may extend up to 12 hours.
Requirements:
Must have real-life experience as a medic (EMT, paramedic, or similar medical emergency response roles).
Aged 20s through 50s, open to males and females of all ethnicities.
Must have a flexible schedule and be available for filming within the next two weeks, with the understanding that the exact date is TBD.
Ability to follow direction well and work cooperatively with cast and crew.
Must be comfortable wearing a costume and makeup as required for the role.
Previous experience in film or television is a plus but not necessary.
Compensation Details:
The rate of pay is $195 for an 8-hour day, with time and a half paid for any hours worked beyond 8 hours.
Additionally, a special ability bump of $25 is offered in recognition of the unique skills brought to the production.
Given the nature of film production, be prepared for approximately a 12-hour day.
