Casting Call: Indigenous Representation for "GRILLED CHEESE" Film Production

Job Details: We are excited to announce a casting call for the upcoming film production "GRILLED CHEESE". We are seeking individuals who are members of the Choctaw Indian tribe to participate in a pivotal scene that honors the rich history and culture of the Choctaw people. This scene is scheduled to be filmed in Napoleonville, LA, on Wednesday, May 1st and Thursday, May 2nd.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Portray a member of the Choctaw Indian tribe in a culturally respectful and accurate manner.
  • Follow directions from the director and other film staff to fulfill the vision of the scene.
  • Be available for costume fittings and to learn any necessary choreography or staging prior to the shoot dates.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor on set at all times.

Requirements:

  • Must be a member of the Choctaw Indian tribe.
  • Available for filming on the specified dates in Napoleonville, LA.
  • Comfortable wearing traditional Choctaw attire and appearing in background scenes.
  • Ability to take direction well and work collaboratively with a team.
  • Must submit an updated headshot and full body shot.
  • Include your name, height, weight, and contact information in the submission.
  • No previous acting experience is required, but must be comfortable in front of the camera.

Compensation Details:

  • This is a paid opportunity. Specific rates will be discussed upon application acceptance.
  • Meals and refreshments will be provided on filming days.
  • Travel expenses and accommodations are not covered, unless otherwise negotiated.
