Casting Call: Actors for Student Film "Ghosts of My Life"
Job Details: Massachusetts College of Art and Design is seeking actors for an upcoming non-paying student film titled "Ghosts of My Life." We are looking for individuals who are passionate about acting and would like to participate in a creative, collaborative student project. This film will be shot in the Boston area and will require a commitment to the shooting schedule between March 9-17.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the director and production team to bring the characters to life.
- Attend and participate actively in all scheduled rehearsals and shooting days.
- Learn lines, cues, and stage directions as directed by the script and director.
- Contribute to the creative process with ideas and suggestions where appropriate.
- Maintain a professional demeanor on set at all times.
Requirements:
- Two roles are available:
- Will: A character in their early 20s, male (preferred but not required), of any race. The actor needs to portray a quiet, sensitive, and melancholic personality.
- Dahlia: A character in their early 20s, femme (female, not required), of any race. The role calls for an upbeat, chaotic, and impulsive demeanor.
- Prior acting experience is preferred but not required.
- Must be available for the entire shooting schedule between March 9-17 in the Boston area.
- Union and Non-Union actors are welcome to apply.
Compensation:
- As this is a student film, the roles are non-paying.
- This is an excellent opportunity for exposure and experience, and it may be a valuable addition to your acting resume.
- Actors will receive a copy of the final film for their personal reel.
- Food and beverages will be provided on set.
