Casting Call: Female Hand Double - Union Submissions Only

We are currently seeking a talented individual to join us as a hand double for an upcoming show. This role requires a specific look and skill set, detailed below. Please read through all the requirements and compensation details before submitting your application.

Job Details:

• Position: Hand Double (Female)
• Production Type: Television Show
• Union Status: Must be a UNION member and registered with Central Casting.
• Work Date: Thursday, March 14th (subject to change based on production needs).
• Location: Los Angeles Area

Job Responsibilities:

• Act as a hand double for a character on the show, specifically for scenes requiring close-ups of hand movements or activities.
• Perform tasks and actions with your hands as directed by the production team, which may include writing or handling objects.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and follow direction from the director, cameraperson, and other crew members to achieve the desired shot.

Requirements:

• Gender and Appearance: White female.
• Skills: Must be comfortable writing with your left hand.
• Hand Condition: Must have clean, bare nails without any polish or artificial nails.
• Union Membership: Must be a current member of the appropriate union and registered with Central Casting.
• Comfortable with long hours on set and able to maintain hand posture and positioning as required for extended periods.

Compensation:

• Hourly Rate: $31 per hour under the Netcode Contract terms.
• Additional Stipend: +$20 Nail Stipend to cover any necessary manicure or nail preparation required by the role.
• Payment terms will be in accordance with Union standards and regulations.
