Job Description:
We are seeking individuals with facial scarring or facial differences to portray club goers in the 1930s for the upcoming feature film, "Shotgun Wedding." This is a unique opportunity to be part of a vibrant scene set in an era of excitement and transformation. The work involves interior scenes to be shot in Newark, New Jersey.
Job Responsibilities:
Portray a 1930s club goer with authenticity and enthusiasm.
Participate actively in all scheduled shooting days.
Be comfortable working around smoke and in environments that simulate the 1930s club atmosphere.
Attend a mandatory costume fitting in Brooklyn prior to the shoot.
Be open to receiving a period-appropriate haircut and styling to align with the 1930s setting.
Requirements:
Must have facial scarring or facial differences. We are looking for a diverse group of individuals who can bring authenticity and depth to the scenes.
Must be comfortable with a period-appropriate haircut. Hair and makeup will be done to complement the 1930s theme.
No allergies to wool, as costumes may contain woolen materials.
Must be comfortable working around smoke, as some scenes will include atmospheric smoke to mimic the club setting of the 1930s.
Availability for the tentative shooting dates on April 16th and 17th in Newark, New Jersey.
Must be able to attend a costume fitting in Brooklyn. Details on the fitting will be provided upon selection.
Compensation:
Pays SAG-AFTRA Special Ability rate: $218 for an 8-hour day.
Additional compensation for overtime as per industry standards.
