Casting Call: Background Actors with Middle Eastern or African American Appearance

Job Detail: White Turtle Casting is seeking individuals with a Middle Eastern or African American appearance to participate as background actors in an upcoming production. The selected candidates will be part of vital scenes that require authentic diversity to enhance the storytelling. We are looking for a variety of roles that will contribute to creating a believable world within the production.

Job Responsibilities:

• Attend wardrobe fittings and makeup sessions as scheduled.
• Follow directions from the director, assistant directors, and other production staff.
• Participate in scenes as instructed, potentially involving sitting, standing, or moving through the set.
• Maintain professionalism on set at all times.
• Be available for the full duration of the shoot on the specified dates.

Requirements:

• Applicants must not have submitted photos for recent projects with White Turtle Casting.
• A recent full body photo must be submitted.
• Full name, phone number, and age are required.
• Height and weight must be provided.
• Clothing sizes, including shirt, pants, and shoes, must be included.
• Indicate whether you have tattoos, and if so, their location.
• Specify the city you reside in.
• If you own a vehicle, provide a photo along with the year, color, make, and model.
• Previous experience as a background actor (BG) is preferable, but not mandatory.

Compensation:

• The role is paid, with rates to be discussed upon selection.
• Any fitting sessions or additional call times outside of the shoot will also be compensated accordingly.
• Meals and snacks will be provided on set.
