Casting Call: Background Actor with Honor Guard Experience

Job Description: We are seeking background actors who are registered with Central Casting and are active union members for an upcoming show. This unique opportunity is specifically for individuals who have experience in performing Honor Guard duties. The selected background actors will be part of a scene that requires a high level of professionalism and skill in ceremonial duties typical of an Honor Guard.

Job Responsibilities:

• Accurately portray Honor Guard members in a television show setting.
• Perform ceremonial duties, including marching, presenting colors, and other related activities, with precision and respect.
• Follow directions from the director and crew members promptly and effectively.
• Maintain a high standard of dress and professionalism in keeping with Honor Guard traditions.
• Be prepared to work in various weather conditions and for extended periods.

Requirements:

• Must be a registered member of Central Casting.
• Must be a current member of a recognized union.
• Prior experience in performing Honor Guard duties is mandatory.
• Ability to follow complex instructions and perform choreographed movements accurately.
• Availability to work on the specified date without scheduling conflicts.
• High level of physical fitness and ability to stand and march for extended periods.
• A professional demeanor and a strong commitment to the role.

Compensation Details:

• Date of Possible Work: Monday, December 4th.
• Rate: $219 for 8 hours of work.
• Overtime will be paid in accordance with union standards.
