Role:

• Character: Hero Dad (Featured Lead)
• Age Range: 40 to 50 years old
• Ethnicities: All ethnicities are welcome to apply
• Character Description: We are seeking a male actor to portray our Hero Dad, a character that embodies the essence of the blue-collar, rugged, and handyman type with a noticeable soft spot for his child. This role requires a strong ability to convey deep emotions non-verbally and to interact with others in a meaningful, heartfelt way.

Job Responsibilities:

• Portray the character of the Hero Dad, following the director’s vision and script requirements.
• Participate in all scheduled rehearsals and fittings as required.
• Collaborate with the production team and other actors to bring the story to life.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism on set and adhere to all production protocols.

Requirements:

• Male, aged 40 to 50 years old.
• Must be local to the Nashville, TN area or willing to work as a local hire.
• Previous acting experience in film, TV, or theatre is preferred.
• Ability to portray a wide range of emotions, with a specific focus on the tender dynamics of a father-child relationship.
• Must be available for all filming dates and any prior rehearsals or fittings scheduled.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the set location.

Compensation:

• Pay Rate: $200 for an 8-hour day
• Agency Fee: An additional 15% will be provided if you are represented by an agency.
