Casting Call: Featured Background Roles for "Jiminy" Feature Film

We are excited to announce a casting call for the upcoming feature film "Jiminy," set to shoot in the picturesque areas of Santa Fe and Glorieta, New Mexico. We are looking for individuals to fill featured background roles as parents of elementary school kids. This is a fantastic opportunity for locals to participate in a film production and gain experience on a professional set.

Job Details:

• Project Title: Jiminy
• Shoot Location: Santa Fe, NM area and/or Glorieta, NM
• Role: Parents of Elementary School Kids
• Type: Featured Background
• Work Dates: Fitting on either Friday, April 5, or Monday, April 8, at Garson Studios - Santa Fe. Filming on Wednesday, April 10, in the Glorieta area. Please note that all dates are subject to change.

Job Responsibilities:

• Participate in a costume fitting session on the specified date.
• Perform background roles as directed during the shoot, accurately portraying the lifestyle and demeanor of rural or blue-collar parents.
• Follow directions from the director, assistant directors, and production staff to ensure scenes are executed as planned.
• Be available and ready for the entirety of the scheduled shoot date(s).

Requirements:

• Age Range: 25-40
• Gender: Male and Female
• Ethnicities: All ethnicities are encouraged to apply
• Characteristics: Looking for individuals who naturally embody the look and feel of rural or blue-collar parents. No upscale looks.
• Location: MUST be able to work as a local hire in the Santa Fe/Glorieta, NM area (Transportation/Accommodation will not be provided).
• Availability: Must be available for fitting and filming on the specified dates.

Compensation:

• $117.00 for 8 hours of work, with overtime paid at time and a half after 8 hours.
