Featured Background Role for Feature Film "Jiminy"
Role: Featured Talent - Fire Evacuee
Job Details:
We are currently seeking a featured background actor for the feature film "Jiminy," to be shot in Santa Fe, NM. This is a non-speaking role with a potential upgrade based on performance and director's selection. The actor will portray a fire evacuee attempting to escape flames by hiding in a body of water.
Responsibilities:
Act as a fire evacuee, including getting into a tank of water and reacting to fake fire and smoke.
Maintain high availability and flexibility for shoot dates and times as schedules may change.
Follow directions from the director and crew promptly and effectively.
Ensure authenticity and consistency in performance throughout filming.
Requirements:
Age: 40 to 50 years old
Gender: Female
Ethnicity: All ethnicities are encouraged to apply
Physical Requirements: Must be fit, in good physical shape, and able to swim
Must be comfortable around non-toxic smoke and fake fire scenarios
Must not have respiratory issues due to exposure to non-toxic smoke
Must be a local hire in the Santa Fe, NM area (no transportation or accommodation provided)
Must be available for all filming dates: 5/6, 5/9, 5/17, and 6/11. Full availability is required as call and wrap times are not predetermined.
Compensation:
Pay Rate: $250.00 for the first 8 hours; overtime at time and a half after 8 hours
Note: Typical workdays are approximately 12 hours
