Under the general direction of the Executive Director and Chief Curator, and in collaboration with other gallery staff, the Collections Coordinator will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the value and integrity of our collection.
Job Responsibilities:

<li>Collection Oversight: Manage and oversee the DMG collection, ensuring proper maintenance, documentation, and preservation of artworks.</li>
<li>Acquisition Proposals: Write and present proposals for new acquisitions, articulating the significance and value of potential additions to the collection.</li>
<li>Cultural Property and Grant Applications: Prepare and submit applications related to cultural property and relevant grants, ensuring compliance with all guidelines and regulations.</li>
<li>Software Management: Utilize Embark Collections Management Software for effective collection management, including cataloging, inventory control, and condition reporting.</li>
<li>Institutional Navigation: Skillfully navigate the complexities of working within an 'A' designated institution, maintaining high standards of professional practice.</li>
<li>Collaborative Efforts: Work closely with gallery staff and external stakeholders to promote and support the gallery&rsquo;s mission and objectives.</li>

Requirements:
