Casting Call: Stunt Performer with High Ropes/Rappelling Experience

Job Description: Boston Casting is on the lookout for a male stunt performer with significant high ropes and rappelling experience to take part in an upcoming production. The role requires a candidate with a strong background in outdoor activities that include rope courses and rappelling techniques. The selected individual will be responsible for performing stunts that involve high ropes and rappelling under the guidance of our stunt coordination team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform high rope stunts and rappelling sequences safely and convincingly as per the director's vision and stunt coordinator's guidance.
• Attend rehearsals as scheduled to practice routines and coordinate with other team members.
• Maintain a high level of physical fitness and rope work skills to perform stunts effectively.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed during rehearsals and on the shoot days.
• Collaborate with the safety team to inspect all equipment and gear prior to use.
• Be available for costume fittings and makeup as required by the production.

Requirements:

• Male, aged 18-40 years old.
• Non-union.
• Proven experience with high ropes courses and rappelling.
• Able to take direction and adapt to changes in stunt routines.
• Comfortable with heights and physically demanding activities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be available on the specified shoot dates.
• Local to the Boston area or willing to travel to the location (travel expenses are not covered).

Compensation:

• $500 total compensation.
• Payment terms will be detailed in the hiring contract.
