The location will involve a phonetic reading of actual trial documents, immersing viewers in this critical historical moment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Portray Tituba, an enslaved woman of South American Indigenous descent, during her questioning in the Salem Witch Trials.
- Deliver a convincing and emotionally resonant performance, capturing the historical context and significance of the scene.
- Perform a phonetic reading of actual trial documents, bringing an authentic touch to the portrayal.
- Collaborate effectively with the director and production team to achieve the desired artistic vision for the video.
Requirements:
- Female actress between the ages of 25 and 35.
- Must have South American Indigenous descent, authentically representing Tituba's heritage.
- Strong acting skills with the ability to convey complex emotions and historical nuances.
- Comfortable with phonetic reading and pronunciation of historical trial documents.
- Union and non-union actors are both welcome to submit for the role.
Compensation Details:
- Pay Rate: $401 for a 4-hour session.
