Casting Call: Background Actors

Job Details: We are seeking non-union male and female background actors for an upcoming production filming in the Los Angeles area. Applicants must be 18 years or older and available to work on both days of the shoot without scheduling conflicts.

Job Responsibilities:

• Arrive on time and ready for makeup, costume fitting, and direction.
• Follow instructions from the director, ADs, and other production staff.
• Participate in scenes as directed, performing consistent background actions and reactions.
• Maintain professionalism on set at all times.
• Be prepared for periods of waiting between scenes.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be a local resident of the Los Angeles area or able to work as a local.
• Available to work on both scheduled days without any conflicts.
• Previous experience in film or television is a plus but not required.
• Ability to follow directions and work cooperatively with others.
• Must be able to stand or move for extended periods.
• Must adhere to set rules and confidentiality agreements regarding the production.

Compensation Details:

• Pay is $350 for a 12-hour workday. Hours beyond 12 will be compensated as per applicable labor laws.
• Payment will be issued following completion of services, subject to the terms of the employment agreement.
