Synopsis: A group of close knit Indian Grandmothers will come together to critique some traditional Indian dishes.
Grandmother - Casting female presenting South Asian/East Indian cooks who appear age 60-75 years old. These women have lived overseas for a long or short period of time from different states across India. They are comfortable in front of the camera and are delighted to share their opinions and personal anecdotes. These women love to cook and have always used food to connect with their family or bring the family together. They know the ins and outs of regional Indian cooking and have strong opinions on how to make the perfect chai, pakora (or pakodas) or aloo sabzi. They can taste when there is an imbalance of spices and know the difference between kashmiri red chilies and other such dried chilies. And they are not afraid to share their opinion.
