Job Detail: C&J is in search of dynamic and expressive performance artists in the Charlotte Area to bring their unique skills to a lottery commercial. We are seeking individuals who excel at conveying emotions through physicality and gestures. This casting call is open to mimes, big head/mascot performers, dancers/gymnasts, clowns, and actors with physical comedy training. The chosen artist will embody the role of [Confetti Creature], a non-speaking character that will captivate the audience with its gestures and expressions. This is a paid opportunity for the selected artist.

Job Responsibilities:

• Convey emotions and narratives through physical gestures and expressions.
• Wear and perform in a costume comfortably.
• Collaborate with the creative team to bring the character to life.
• Attend a fitting session on September 13, 2023.
• Participate in the shoot scheduled for September 14, 2023.
• Engage in a non-speaking role, using body language to captivate the audience.
• Be available for a callback on September 1, 2023, via Zoom.

Requirements:

• Male, aged 25 to 50 years old.
• Height: 6'0" or taller (the taller, the better).
• Lanky/slim build.
• Ability to express emotions effectively through physical gestures.
• Comfortable performing in a costume.
• Local to Charlotte, NC or within an hour's travel from Charlotte.
• Available for the callback, fitting, and shoot dates as mentioned.

Compensation Details:

• Session Fee: $500 (paid upon completion of the shoot).
• Usage Fee: $750 (paid if the talent's appearance is used in the final edit).
• Fitting Fee: $200 (for attending the fitting session).
• Travel: Local hire; talent must be within an hour of Charlotte.
• Deadline for Auditions: Sunday, August 27th, 2023, at 5 PM.
• Callback: September 1st, 2023, via Zoom.
• Fitting & Shoot Date: Fitting on September 13th, 2023; Shoot on September 14th, 2023.
• Location: Charlotte, NC.
