Job Title: Content Producer

Job Summary: The Video Producer will be an integral member of a team responsible for developing original studio content including pre-recorded and livestreamed programming. The Producer will be responsible for facilitating the production of diverse, successful slates of content primarily for digital and social platforms including YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok.

What you’ll do

  • Work with internal stakeholders to develop and create compelling, innovative pre-recorded and livestreamed content primarily for digital first and social platforms.
  • Contribute to series development through research, building pitch decks, script writing and editing.
  • Project ownership from initial concept through final delivery:
    • Content ideation and pitch process
    • Project scope and budget creation
    • Source, vet and hire production crews
    • Create workback schedules, and ensure that budget, schedules, deliveries, and feedback stay on track throughout the life of the project
    • Communicate project objectives to internal stakeholders, external vendors, and video editorial teams
    • Manage and oversee the review process from script through final post deliverables
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders, balancing the needs of internal sponsors with the overall look and feel of Pokémon studio content.
  • Work closely with the social, PR and Marketing teams to ensure formats, hooks, and run of show align with Pokémon brand voice.
  • Manage localization of content into non-English languages, placing orders, collaborating with language teams, and driving continuous improvement to process and product.
    • Track content performance, working with stakeholders to optimize for audience impact.

What you’ll bring

  • Five (5) to seven (7) years of related professional experience.
  • Bachelors degree required.
  • Knowledge of the digital video content landscape – including what makes for successful programming.
  • Experience producing short form and social content, specifically YouTube and/or TikTok.
  • Thorough understanding of the production process, including post-production workflows.
  • Experience creating pitch decks, pre-production books and shot lists.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and union guidelines.
  • Relevant and adequate experience in video/content production management experience including managing timelines, budgets and contracts for several ongoing creative projects.
  • Proficiency in Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint.
  • Meticulous project organization and attention to detail.
  • Pokémon games/brand and animation and video editorial skills a plus.
  • Experience managing the process of localization of video content into E-FIGS, LAS, BPO preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize while juggling multiple projects at once in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent teamwork and problem solving skills.
  • Experience with creative development, ideation and brainstorming.
