Grammy Awards Nominations 2019. Here is the complete list of Grammy Nominations for the 2019 Grammys. Kendrick Lamar is breaking records and this year he leads the way for the most nominations. Lamar had eight nominations for his work on the Black Panther soundtrack including the hit song 'All of the Starz' with SZA. Drake came in second with seven nominations and produce Boi-1da and singer Brandi Carlile are right behind Drake with six nominations. Drake, Kendrick Lamar, and Carlile all received nominations for record, song, and album of the year. Drake's single 'God's Plan' and his latest album 'Scorpion' received nominations. Kendrick Lamar's 'All The Stars' and the 'Black Panther' soundtrack he helped make are both competing for the top categories. Meanwhile, Carlile's song 'The Joke' and her album 'By the Way, I Forgive You,' both received top nominations. Cardi B's 'Invasion of Privacy', H.E.R.'s self-titled album, Post Malone's 'Beerbongs & Bentley's, Janelle Monae's 'Dirty Computer', and Kacey Musgraves 'Golden Hour' complete the list of albums competing for the album of the year. Cardi B, Lady Gaga, Childish Gambino, Maren Morris, H.E.R., and producer Sounwave all received five nominations. Best music film nominations include the Netflix documentary 'Quincy' by Quincy Jones, Alan Hicks, and Rashida Jones. Also, the Whitney Houston documentary 'Whitney' by, Kevin Macdonald also received a nomination. The Grammy Awards will take place on February 10, 2019 in Los Angeles, California at the Los Angeles' Staples Center.
