Recently, Casting's Erica Arvold recently revealed an inside tip on the and answered the age old question: should actors ask about being upgraded from a non- to a speaking role?

In one word: No.

Arvold explains that casting directors are always considering to upgrade actors to bigger and larger .

So, actors shouldn't have to worry about asking a casting if they can get upgraded because casting directors are already considering it.
