The LA Film Festival is one of the biggest platforms for indie storytellers and aspiring filmmakers and is now accepting submissions.The LA Film Festival is taking place from June 1-9, 2016 and showcases new indie films, TV shows and online content from aspiring filmmakers. The FEstival creates partnerships and networking opportunities between indie artists and the film industry. Signature programs include the Filmmaker Retreat, Coffee Talks, Master Classes, the Spirit of Independence Award, Fast Track, a film financing market and Diversity Speaks, a day-long forum for content creators of color. The Los Angeles Film Festival, is produced by Film Independent, a 501(c)(3) non-profit arts organization focuses on promoting and supporting indie films and filmmakers that include diversity and innovation in part of their productions.
