Next ‘Spider-Man’ Movie Will Film in Atlanta


Marvel's Spider-Man will in Atlanta, Georgia 2016.

Following Marvel's Ant-Man it appears as though every Marvel superhero will film in , Georgia. Casting directors are now casting extras for Guardians of the Galaxy 2 and just last week the Atlanta filmed : Civil War released it's trailer.

spilled the beans during an interview saying:

“We're shooting in Atlanta for most of it, because they have studios there and I think it's cheaper to build a New York set than it is to shoot here, because it's going to be very expensive,” Holland shared. “We probably will end up here (in New York) for one week or two.”

Marvel's Captain America: Civil War centers around Steve Rogers leading the newly created in their to protect humanity. A terrible incident makes the Avengers look like enemies. This leads to political pressure and two teams forming within the Avengers. Tony Stark's decision to support oversight.

Tom Holland's Spider-Man will debut in Captain America: Civil War, which will arrive on May 6, 2016. He will then star in the Jon Watt's directed Spider-Man movie to be released on July 28, 2017.

Holland opened up about what makes Spider-Man so different in comparison to the other superheroes. He said:

“I have always been a huge fan of Spider-Man, and growing up, I had countless Spider-Man costumes, only two years ago did I go to a fancy dress party dressed as Spider-Man. I had this awesome morph suit where you can put your phone on your chest and spiders would crawl across the costume, it was awesome! He's always been a big part of my and a big part of boys' lives because everybody can relate to him.”

Spider-Man is just the latest of the new crop of movies and TV shows filming now in Georgia. With Georgia's 30% film tax credits, Georgia has catapulted itself to the top in film industry production.
