Netflix to Film ‘True Memoirs of an International Assassin’ in Georgia this Fall

Kevin James is headed to the ATL to film the new Netflix movie True Memoirs of an International Assassin. 

Netflix acquired worldwide distribution of the upcoming Kevin James comedy The True Memoirs of an International Assassin, according to Variety.

The True Memoirs of an International Assassin will be released in 2016, meaning it will be available on the streaming service and not in theaters. The budget for the production will be pretty enormous, according to sources close to Variety.

In the comedy, Kevin James plays an accountant mistaken for an assassin when a novel he’s writing is accidentally published as nonfiction, forcing him to flee to Belize. Assassin will be directed by Jeff Wadlow (Kick Ass 2) based on a Black List screenplay by Jeff Morris and it will be produced by Kevin Frakes, Todd Garner, Raja Collins and Justin Begnaud. Shooting begins this fall.
