Keanu Reeves, who is currently featured in the thriller
John Wick, recently told
Moviefone that he wishes he could have played a Marvel or DC comic hero, but none of the studios were interested.

"I always wanted to play Wolverine," Reeves said. "But I didn't get that. And they have a great Wolverine now." "I always wanted to play The Dark Knight," the actor continued. "But I didn't get that one. They've had some great Batmans. So now I'm just enjoying them as an audience."
Hugh Jackman currently stars as
Wolverine in all of the
X-Men movies and
Ben Affleck is the leading actor to play Batman in all of the new
Dark Knight movies.

Prior to
John Wick, Keanu Reeves last major movie was 47 Ronin and it was a major flop in the box office. Keanu Reeves recently revealed in an interview that not only was it difficult to be turned from comic book movies but, he feels he has been ignored by all of Hollywood.
