Hollywood Wanted to Create a "Ferris Bueller" Sequel

Did Hollywood plan on creating a "Ferris Bueller" sequel?

Matthew Broderick admitted to Andy Cohen on "Watch What Happens Live" that there were discussions of a follow-up to the 1980s hit movie but it never happened. "It was discussed but it kind of never went very far," Broderick explained. "But it wasn't me, it was just nobody really agreed on what to do and when to do it." Andy Cohen asked the Broderick, if he regrets not pushing for a sequel. "Now I look back and I think, 'Yeah that was a great idea.' They should have done a lot of them...I think what I would have had now."
