Edgar Wright,”Ant-Man” Director, Quits Filming


The director of Marvel Studios' “Ant-Man”, Edgar Wright, has dropped out of the production after having creative differences.

According to recent reports, Marvel is looking into finding a new for “”. When Wright announced his departure from the multi-million dollar production, Marvel announced that “a new director will be announced shortly.” But, according to Variety, Marvel is not in negotiations with anyone yet.

Edgar Wright was attached to “Ant-Man” since 2006, prior to the first movies. He would go to San Diego Comic Con to announce production updates, and how the development of “Ant Man” is going. In 2012, he ben showed of the new Ant-Man .

According to the announcement Edgar Wright and Marvel separated “due to differences in their vision of the film,” the company and director said in a statement.
